MINNESOTA — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of a 40-year-old woman from Virginia early Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 53, just south of King Road in Orr.
Authorities say the woman’s vehicle was heading southbound when it crossed the center line and veered into the east ditch.
The vehicle then struck a rock wall and several trees before catching fire, according to the State Patrol.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
