MARYLAND — A woman was killed and another woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash near Joint Base Andrews early Saturday morning, according to police.
Investigators said the crash happened around 2:55 a.m. in the area of Suitland Road and Allentown Road.
Police said the driver, a woman, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries following the collision.
Another woman who was riding in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
No additional information about the women involved has been released.
