INDIANA — A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on the northwest side of Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Guion Road just before 5 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash. Investigators said the woman was driving an SUV when she struck a tree.
Police found the woman unresponsive inside the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where she later died from her injuries.
No additional details about the victim have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
