
ILLINOIS — A driver was killed Monday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 57 in Pulaski County, according to Illinois State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. near the 21.5 mile marker south of Wetaug.
Investigators said the vehicle was traveling southbound on I-57 when it left the roadway and overturned.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities said no other people were inside the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation by Illinois State Police.
