FLORIDA — A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in a gated community in Lakewood Ranch on Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said a 2017 Lexus was traveling on Eagles Watch Way near The Masters Avenue when it went off the roadway, crossed over a curb and struck shrubs.
Investigators believe the 69-year-old driver may have experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.
The driver was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
