VIRGINIA — A man was found stabbed to death overnight in the Huntington area of Fairfax County, Virginia, according to police.
The Fairfax County Police Department said officers responded shortly after midnight Saturday to the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue for a reported stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from trauma to his upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Major Crimes Bureau detectives remained at the scene Saturday morning investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity and no arrests had been announced as of Saturday morning.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Fairfax County Police Department Major Crimes Bureau or submit anonymous tips through Crime Solvers.
