KENTUCKY — A woman died Saturday after a knife assault in the Pathfork community, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers said the incident occurred just after 7 p.m. The victim was flown to a hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead prior to transport.
Authorities said one male suspect has been taken into custody. Officials added there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing.
