
TEXAS — One person has died following a Friday night shooting in Lubbock, according to police.
Officers responded to a call for shots fired around 10:36 p.m. in the 5900 block of Avenue P. When they arrived, they found one person suffering from serious injuries.
The victim was transported by EMS to University Medical Center, where they later died.
Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
No arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
