
OHIO — A shooting at Euclid Beach Park early Thursday morning left one man dead and another injured, according to Cleveland Metroparks Police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 12:44 a.m. in the 16300 block of Lakeshore Boulevard.
When they arrived, they found a man between the ages of 18 and 20 with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers administered first aid before he was transported by Cleveland EMS to University Hospitals, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.
A second victim, also between 18 and 20 years old, later arrived at MetroHealth Hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The incident occurred after park hours, and it is unclear why the individuals were at the park. Police are currently interviewing witnesses who remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
