NORTH CAROLINA — A person was found dead following a reported shooting at a park in Henderson County, according to authorities.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to Dana Park in Flat Rock just before 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered one person deceased at the scene.
Investigators said they do not believe the shooting was a random incident. No additional details about the victim or any potential suspects have been released.
The case remains under active investigation, and authorities have not announced any arrests.
