LOUISIANA — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a teenage boy Thursday afternoon in Jefferson Parish.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in the 1400 block of Angus Drive in Harvey.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a teenage boy suffering from a gunshot wound outside a residence. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said the victim has not yet been identified.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
