GEORGIA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 75 early Tuesday morning, according to the Marietta Police Department.
Police said officers responded shortly after midnight to the interstate near the bridge over South Marietta Parkway, where they found the body of 27-year-old Parker Faucett of Canton.
Investigators said Faucett was operating a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle. Passing motorists stopped and attempted to assist him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released information about what may have caused the crash and said the investigation remains ongoing.
