PENNSYLVANIA — A 23-year-old Northampton man died after a motorcycle crash in Allentown over the weekend, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday near North 11th Street and West Tilghman Street.
Officials said the man was riding a motorcycle that collided with another vehicle. He was pronounced dead shortly before 5 p.m. at a local hospital.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday to help determine the cause of death.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released. The coroner’s office said the name will be withheld until the autopsy is completed and all notifications and investigative procedures are finalized.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, Allentown Police Department, Allentown Police Traffic Unit and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.
