OHIO — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck Monday morning in Howland, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened shortly after 5 a.m. on westbound State Route 82 near Route 46.
Troopers said a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. The driver of the motorcycle died as a result of the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and continued investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash Monday morning.
Authorities said the right lane of westbound State Route 82 was blocked while crews worked at the scene.
No additional information about the victim or the cause of the crash was immediately available.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
