
MICHIGAN — A 29-year-old woman died after a motorcycle crash Friday evening in Lansing, according to police.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on May 29 near the intersection of Olds Avenue and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The Lansing Police Department said officers responded to the scene and found the woman suffering from injuries sustained in the crash. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators said the woman lost control of her motorcycle before crashing. Authorities are continuing to work to determine what led up to the wreck, but speed is believed to have been a factor.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
