
MICHIGAN — A 69-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Redford Township, police said.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on May 3 at the intersection of Schoolcraft Road and Telegraph Road. According to Redford Township police, the woman was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Schoolcraft.
Authorities said the driver fled the scene and has not yet been identified. No description of the vehicle was immediately available.
The woman was transported for medical treatment but later died from her injuries, officials said.
