MARYLAND — A 33-year-old Upper Marlboro woman was killed early Sunday morning in a four-vehicle crash involving an MTA bus in Anne Arundel County, according to Maryland State Police.

Troopers responded around 1:15 a.m. to the intersection of Dorsey Road and Telegraph Road in Glen Burnie for reports of a crash involving three vehicles and a Maryland Transit Administration bus.

Investigators said a preliminary investigation found that a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling westbound on Dorsey Road at a high rate of speed when it struck a Mazda CX-30 that was also heading westbound. The impact caused the Camaro to enter the intersection, where it collided with a Ford Explorer and an MTA transit bus that were turning onto Telegraph Road from eastbound Dorsey Road.

Police identified the woman killed in the crash as Yolanda Hardy, 33, of Upper Marlboro. Hardy was a passenger in the Ford Explorer and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.

The driver of the Ford Explorer, a 38-year-old man, was transported to a local trauma center for treatment of injuries.

Authorities said the driver of the Camaro, identified as 22-year-old Corbin Congedo, was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team is investigating the crash. Investigators believe speed and impairment may have been contributing factors.
