LOUISIANA — A Franklinton man was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Kentwood, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers said 43-year-old Jerome Warren was driving east on La. Highway 1057 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Investigators said Warren then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to re-enter the roadway and cross into the westbound lane, where it struck a tractor-trailer.
Both vehicles left the roadway and entered a tree line, according to state police.
Warren was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
