PENNSYLVANIA — A 49-year-old man died Saturday night in an ATV crash in Wayne County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened just before 10 p.m. on Stonefence Road in Damascus Township.
Investigators said Timothy P. Abbott, of Damascus, was riding a 2023 Polaris Sportsman 850 when he lost control while negotiating a right curve in the road about 600 feet north of Lakeview Drive.
Police said the ATV rolled over, trapping Abbott underneath the vehicle.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Abbott dead, according to state police.
Authorities said Abbott was not wearing safety equipment at the time of the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
