FLORIDA — A 42-year-old woman was killed in an ATV crash Saturday night in Dixie County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the area of Northeast 145th Lane and Northeast 152nd Street in Cross City.
According to investigators, the woman was operating an ATV when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol has not released the victim’s identity.
Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
