OHIO — A crash at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Childrens Home-Bradford Road claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman and left another driver injured Thursday, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Catherine Linder was driving a Ford minivan when she failed to yield the right-of-way and entered the path of an oncoming dump truck.
The truck struck the passenger side of the minivan, forcing both vehicles off the road and into a ditch.
Linder was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was treated and released.
