SOUTH CAROLINA — A 53-year-old man died Saturday after falling from the back of a moving vehicle in Spartanburg County, according to authorities.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Eric Bradley, of Charlotte, North Carolina. Officials said Bradley fell from the vehicle while it was in motion.
The incident occurred at the intersection of East Main Street and Commerce Court in Duncan. Bradley was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:50 p.m.
A forensic examination has been scheduled for Monday.
The coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
