KENTUCKY — A man was arrested Friday morning after police said he shot at another driver during a road rage incident in Florence.
According to the Florence Police Department, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Dixie Highway and Industrial Road after receiving reports of a road rage confrontation involving gunfire.
Police said the incident began near Turkeyfoot Road when one driver became frustrated with another driver’s actions on the road. Authorities said the two vehicles continued west on Industrial Road toward Dixie Highway when one of the drivers reported that the other driver, identified as 31-year-old Devin Holston, fired a shot at him.
Investigators said the victim was not injured during the incident.
Holston was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment. He was taken to the Boone County Jail.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while officers investigated, but authorities later cleared the scene and reopened the roadway.
