NORTH CAROLINA — A juvenile has been arrested after police in Charlotte found hundreds of grams of drugs and a stolen weapon during a search, according to authorities.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said the arrest followed an investigation into drug activity, stolen vehicles and firearms in the Hickory Grove Division. Officers executed two search warrants.
During the searches, investigators recovered approximately 226.9 grams of suspected cocaine, 13.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, 14.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 30.9 grams of suspected marijuana. Police also seized about $4,130 in cash, two firearms — one of which was reported stolen — and a full-auto conversion device.
Authorities said the juvenile faces multiple charges, including possession of a weapon of mass destruction, trafficking in fentanyl and cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, and possession of a stolen firearm and stolen vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing.
