TENNESSEE — Methamphetamine, prescription pills, loaded firearms and suspected drug money were seized during an apartment raid in Dyersburg, according to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force.

Agents were serving an arrest warrant on June 1 at the Meadowlane Apartments in Dyersburg. Authorities said the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants for felony evading arrest and driving on a revoked license.

Before being taken into custody, the suspect allegedly attempted to flee through the back entrance of the apartment.

During the investigation, agents seized methamphetamine, Adderall and hydrocodone pills. Investigators also recovered two loaded firearms and $416 in suspected drug proceeds.

Authorities said a previously convicted felon was arrested on numerous felony drug and weapons charges.

The case is being prosecuted by the Office of the District Attorney General for Tennessee’s 29th Judicial District, led by District Attorney General Danny Goodman Jr.

Additional details, including the identity of the suspect and specific charges, were not immediately released.
