TENNESSEE — A Memphis man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges following a motel raid in Lexington, authorities announced.
On March 12, investigators from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Drug Investigation Division, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, and the Huntingdon Police Department executed a search warrant at a motel in the 700 block of West Church Street.
The search targeted a suspect wanted for aggravated burglary and felony theft in Huntingdon.
During the search, authorities seized methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia. Kenneth Edward Sherrill, 48, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of Xanax, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sherrill was booked into the Henderson County Jail, with bond not yet set at the time of the report.
Authorities emphasize that charges are accusations, and Sherrill is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
