TENNESSEE — A driver is in custody after a police pursuit ended in a crash and vehicle fire Saturday afternoon in Nashville, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Troopers said they were pursuing a vehicle when the chase came to an end at the intersection of Brook Hollow Road and Templeton Drive, in the area between West Meade and Hillwood. The vehicle crashed and subsequently caught fire.
Authorities confirmed the driver was taken into custody following the incident. No injuries were reported.
No additional details about the pursuit or the driver have been released as of Saturday evening. Officials say the investigation remains ongoing.
