VIRGINIA — Students in several Virginia school divisions are entering the final week of the 2025-26 academic year, with official school calendars showing their last day of classes falling between June 8 and June 12.
Among the divisions scheduled to finish during that week is Prince William County Public Schools, whose official calendar lists Friday, June 12, 2026, as the last day of school for students. The district notes that students will be dismissed early on the final day.
Virginia Beach City Public Schools also lists Friday, June 12, 2026, as the final day of school for students on its approved 2025-26 calendar.
In the historic triangle region, Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools lists Wednesday, June 10, 2026, as the last day of school on its approved academic calendar.
Another Northern Virginia division finishing later in June is Arlington Public Schools, whose approved 2025-26 calendar lists June 18, 2026, as the last day of school and therefore falls outside the June 8-12 window.
Based on currently published calendars that could be independently verified, Prince William County Public Schools, Virginia Beach City Public Schools and Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools are among the Virginia divisions whose students are scheduled to complete the 2025-26 school year during the week of June 8-12, 2026.
School officials note that calendar dates remain subject to change if weather-related make-up days become necessary.
