GEORGIA — Several Georgia public school districts are wrapping up the 2025-26 school year this week, with official calendars showing final school days on May 28 or May 29.
DeKalb County School District’s approved 2025-26 calendar lists May 28, 2026 as the “Last Day of School,” followed by a post-planning day on May 29.
Rockdale County Public Schools lists May 28, 2026 as “Last Day of School” and May 29, 2026 as “Post Planning Day” on its district calendar.
Macon County School System lists May 29, 2026 as “Last Day of School,” with graduation also scheduled that day and post-planning set for June 1-3.
The calendars mean students in those Georgia districts will begin summer break by the end of the week, while staff members continue with post-planning, graduation and end-of-year duties.
