Multiple school districts in Ohio closed Tuesday due to snow

OHIO — Schools across Ohio are closing their doors tomorrow as a result of snow emergencies and hazardous road conditions.

Several counties are experiencing varying levels of snow emergencies, prompting closures and remote learning adjustments.

In Fairfield County, Amanda Clearcreek Local Schools and Fairfield Union Local Schools will be closed tomorrow, while Fairfield County remains under a Level 2 Snow Emergency.

Nearby, Circleville City Schools in Pickaway County, Teays Valley Local Schools, and Jackson City Schools have also announced closures, with Pickaway County under a Level 3 Snow Emergency.

Hocking County, also under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, will see Logan Hocking Local Schools closed tomorrow.

In Ross County, Bishop Flaget School, Pickaway Ross Vocational Center, Union Scioto Local Schools, and Ross County Christian Academy are all closed, with the county at a Level 3 Snow Emergency.

Additional closures include Maysville Schools and Franklin Local Schools in Muskingum County, New Lexington City Schools in Perry County, Ridgewood Local Schools in Coshocton County, and Wellston City Schools in Jackson County.

Morgan Local Schools in Morgan County are closed through Wednesday due to severe conditions, with the county under a Level 3 Snow Emergency.

Remote learning will be implemented for the Conservatory of Piano in Franklin County.

In business-related closures, JATC Plumbers & Pipe Fitters has canceled evening classes, and Trimold, LLC has canceled its second shift.

Residents are advised to monitor updates from local authorities and school districts as conditions evolve.
