
NORTH CAROLINA — Several people were injured in a crash involving an ambulance and two other vehicles in Gastonia on Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on April 16 in front of the Gastonia Police Department on East Long Avenue.
Officials said an ambulance and two vehicles were involved in the collision. Authorities did not specify the exact number of people injured but confirmed that multiple injuries were reported.
Gaston County emergency officials told WBTV that at least two people suffered serious injuries.
It is not immediately clear how the crash occurred.
The incident remains under investigation.
