
OHIO — Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the west side of Cleveland Friday evening, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of West 150th Street and Lorain Avenue.
Officials said the intersection was shut down following the crash.
According to the Cleveland Fire Department, one person was initially reported trapped inside a vehicle, but that individual was removed before firefighters arrived.
Emergency crews transported up to five people to the Fairview Emergency Department for treatment, officials said.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area while crews continue to work at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
