
OHIO — Multiple teenagers were arrested Monday evening after a stolen vehicle crashed and a 15-year-old was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the west side of Cleveland, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
Police said officers responded around 7:04 p.m. to reports of a shooting near West 28th Street and Detroit Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found an overturned vehicle on its roof with no one inside. Investigators later learned the vehicle had been reported stolen and that the occupants fled before officers arrived.
Authorities said police later located a 15-year-old boy, two 16-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man in connection with the incident.
According to police, officers recovered two firearms at the scene.
Investigators said the 15-year-old had suffered a gunshot wound but was able to speak with officers at the scene. Police rendered first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the teen to a hospital.
All four individuals were arrested, according to police.
The investigation remains active.
