NEW HAMPSHIRE — A fast-moving weather system is set to bring snow to parts of northern New Hampshire on Thursday, with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches expected.

Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Northern Carroll and Southern Carroll counties, including North Conway, Ossipee, and Wolfeboro.

Snow will begin in the early morning and continue through the afternoon, with rates reaching up to one inch per hour at times.

The snowfall could briefly transition to light rain or drizzle before ending late in the day.

Motorists should expect variable travel conditions, especially during the morning and evening commutes.

Snow-covered roads may lead to hazardous driving conditions.

Officials advise slowing down and using caution while traveling. For updated road conditions, visit newengland511.org.
