MINNESOTA — Four people were injured in a shooting Friday night at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Minneapolis, according to authorities.
The Minneapolis Park Police Department said officers were called to the park around 8:38 p.m. after a report of a suspicious person and a large gathering in the area. Investigators said shots were fired before officers arrived.
A 19-year-old woman suffered a serious gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Police said three other individuals also suffered gun-related injuries and went to hospitals on their own.
No arrests have been announced.
Officials said the Minneapolis Park Police Department is working with the Minneapolis Police Department as the investigation continues.
