TEXAS — Police are investigating after a body was found near train tracks in Irving on Sunday evening, officials said.
According to the Irving Police Department, the body was discovered in the 100 block of North Nursery Road. Authorities said they do not believe the victim was struck by a train.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear.
Detectives, along with the medical examiner’s office, are working to determine the cause of death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
