SOUTH CAROLINA — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman whose body was found near Alligator Alley over the weekend.
Deputies responded Saturday night to the area of S.C. 170 after receiving a call for service, according to the sheriff’s office. When deputies arrived, they discovered the body of a woman.
The victim was identified as Aveonnah Rene Moore. Authorities said her family has been notified.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in gathering information about Moore or the circumstances surrounding her death.
