TEXAS — A man was found dead in a ditch in a northwest Harris County neighborhood Friday morning, authorities said.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a man lying in a ditch near Cypress Ridge Drive and Cypress Knoll Drive in the Fairwood neighborhood.
When deputies arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities said a firearm was found near the body.
The investigation remains ongoing.
