MISSISSIPPI — An 87-year-old man from Lucedale was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in George County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, along Highway 63 near Basin Refuge Road.
Authorities said a Ford F-250 was traveling southbound when it collided with a Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Charles Keel, 87, of Lucedale. Keel was pronounced dead as a result of the crash.
The two occupants of the Ford F-250 were not injured, according to investigators.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials said the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were immediately released.
