MISSISSIPPI — Police are investigating after a man was shot in the face Friday, December 12, 2025, on Voorhees Avenue.
According to Jackson police, officers responded to the scene and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Police said a suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
