ALABAMA — A Columbus, Georgia, woman was killed Monday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Bullock County, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Troopers said 61-year-old Maria Perez died when the small SUV she was driving collided head-on with a car driven by 64-year-old Eric Ousley of Union Springs. After the initial impact, Perez’s vehicle was struck by a second car driven by 23-year-old Kelsey Bozeman of Fitzpatrick.
Perez was pronounced dead at the scene. Ousley and Bozeman were transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment of their injuries.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on December 8 on Alabama Highway 51, approximately three miles west of Hurtsboro. The incident remains under investigation.
