One person arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — A 42-year-old New Bern woman was arrested Monday following a search conducted by a recently established multi-agency drug task force.

Authorities executed the search at a residence on Sand Ridge Road as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. During the search, officers seized 26 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of cocaine, and 14 grams of marijuana.

Jodi Darlene Sinclair, who resides at the property, faces multiple felony charges, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver fentanyl; possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and marijuana; simple possession of fentanyl and cocaine; and maintaining a dwelling for keeping and selling controlled substances.

Sinclair is currently being held at the Craven County Confinement Facility without bond.

The multi-agency Drug Task Force includes the Craven, Carteret, and Pamlico County Sheriff’s Offices, along with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
