MISSISSIPPI — A pedestrian was injured Friday while attempting to assist someone involved in an earlier accident on Cooper Road, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Captain William Kendrick said the man was walking toward the initial crash site on November 21 when another vehicle rounded a corner and struck him.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Kendrick said the driver who hit the man remained at the scene.
JPD continues to investigate the incident.
