MISSISSIPPI — A pedestrian was struck and killed on Dedeaux Road Saturday evening, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
Officials say the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Dedeaux Road and North Wilson Boulevard. Investigators report that a vehicle traveling west on Dedeaux Road hit a female pedestrian, who died from her injuries.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of family.
Gulfport Police say the crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
