
MISSISSIPPI — Two construction workers were airlifted to a hospital Monday afternoon after being electrocuted at a work site, according to the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened around 1:15 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 25 and Highway 43. Deputies said one worker was severely injured but breathing, while the second worker sustained minor injuries.
An AirCare helicopter responded to the scene and transported both workers to a hospital in Jackson for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
