SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist died Thursday night after being struck by an SUV, authorities said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Highway 39.
Troopers said the motorcycle crossed the centerline and collided with a Jeep traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was taken to a hospital. The name of the deceased motorcyclist has not been released.
