MISSISSIPPI — A stabbing in Oxford earlier this month has led to the arrest of a Florida man, according to the Oxford Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred on Sept. 5 at a hotel in the 1500 block of University Avenue. The victim was hospitalized but has since been released.
Authorities arrested 31-year-old Orlando Perez of Jacksonville, Fla., and charged him with aggravated assault.
No further details about the incident have been released as the investigation continues.
