OHIO — A motorcyclist was critically injured Monday afternoon in a crash on state Route 161 near Sharon Township, according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just south of Interstate 270 around 2:30 p.m. after reports of a motorcycle striking a guardrail. The rider was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said traffic on Route 161 was diverted to I-270 northbound while the crash was under investigation.
