
TENNESSEE — An overturned tractor-trailer caused traffic delays Tuesday morning on Interstate 40 in Memphis, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
TDOT reported just before 9:30 a.m. that an “overturned vehicle” was blocking the westbound side of I-40 at Warford Street. Traffic cameras appeared to show a tractor-trailer overturned on its side in the median of the interstate.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the crash involved multiple vehicles and left two people injured. Officials said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Motorists experienced delays in the area as crews responded to the scene. Additional details about the cause of the crash have not been released.
