ILLINOIS — One person died following a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Forest View, according to police.
Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:10 a.m. reporting a crash with possible injuries near the intersection of 47th Street and Central Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found two damaged vehicles and one person lying on the ground near the crash scene.
The individual was transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or any additional details about the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
